This Privacy Policy explains how Datoraid S.A.R.L ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Tap Tap Sell mobile application and related services (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here. WHO WE ARE Tap Tap Sell is a classifieds marketplace operated by Datoraid S.A.R.L. The App lets people post listings to sell items and browse listings posted by others. We are a platform that connects buyers and sellers; we are not a party to the transactions between users. INFORMATION WE COLLECT We collect the following information: Account information. To create an account, we collect your phone number. We use phone-based sign-in, so your phone number is your primary account identifier. You may also choose to add a display name, a profile photo, and a general location. Listings you create. When you post a listing, we collect the information you provide, including the title, description, price, category, item details, photos, videos, the contact phone number you choose to display, and the listing's location. Usage information. We collect basic information about how the App is used, such as listings viewed and how many times a listing's contact details are requested, in order to operate and improve the service. Device and technical information. We may collect limited technical information necessary to deliver and secure the App. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION We use your information to: create and manage your account; publish and display your listings to other users; allow buyers and sellers to contact one another; operate, maintain, and improve the App; keep the App safe, including reviewing reported content and enforcing our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service; and comply with legal obligations. HOW BUYERS AND SELLERS CONNECT Tap Tap Sell does not include in-app messaging. When you post a listing, the contact phone number you choose to display is shown to other users so they can reach you by phone call or WhatsApp. Please only share a contact number you are comfortable making visible to other users. Likewise, when you contact a seller, you are reaching them directly outside the App. INFORMATION VISIBLE TO OTHERS Your listings, your display name, your profile photo, your general location, and the contact phone number you choose to display on a listing are visible to other users of the App. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your listing text or photos. HOW WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION Your information, including listing photos and videos, is stored using our hosting and database provider (Supabase), which provides the infrastructure for the App. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. LOCATION DATA Listings include a location you select. Place and location data used in the App is provided by GeoNames (geonames.org) and is used under license. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the App (for example, with our hosting provider), to comply with the law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public. DATA RETENTION AND ACCOUNT DELETION You can delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings). When you delete your account, we anonymize your profile (removing your display name, profile photo, and stored phone number), remove your phone number from your account so it is no longer linked to you, and remove your listings from public view along with their photos and videos. After deletion, the same phone number can be used to register a new, separate account. CHILDREN The App is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe someone under 16 has provided us information, please contact us so we can address it. YOUR RIGHTS You may access or update much of your information directly in the App, and you may delete your account as described above. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
