COMMUNITY GUIDELINES Last updated: June 20 2026 Tap Tap Sell works because people trust it. These Community Guidelines explain what is and isn't allowed so the marketplace stays safe, honest, and useful for everyone. They form part of our Terms of Service. If a listing or user breaks these rules, we may hide or remove the listing, reject content, or restrict the account. THE BASICS Be honest, be respectful, and only post things you are allowed to sell. Describe your items accurately, use real photos of the actual item, and put listings in the right category. Treat other users the way you'd want to be treated. WHAT'S NOT ALLOWED The following are not permitted on Tap Tap Sell. These map to the reasons you can use when reporting a listing. Prohibited items. Do not list items that are illegal or restricted, including weapons, drugs, counterfeit or fake goods, stolen items, or anything you do not have the legal right to sell. If selling something would break the law, it doesn't belong here. Scams or fraud. Do not use the App to deceive, cheat, or defraud anyone. This includes fake listings, misleading prices, bait-and-switch tactics, requests for payment for items that don't exist, and any attempt to trick another user. Wrong category. Post your listing in the category that actually fits it. Don't place items in the wrong category to get more views or to dodge the rules. Offensive or inappropriate content. Do not post content that is sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, or otherwise offensive or inappropriate. This applies to listing text, photos, and videos. Spam or duplicates. Don't flood the marketplace. Avoid posting the same item many times, posting repetitive or low-quality listings, or using listings to advertise unrelated things. Sold or unavailable items. Keep your listings current. Remove or mark items that are no longer available so buyers aren't misled. STAYING SAFE Tap Tap Sell connects buyers and sellers, but the dealing happens between you directly by phone or WhatsApp. We are not part of those conversations or transactions, so please look out for yourself: Meet in safe, public places when possible, and consider bringing someone with you. Inspect an item before paying. Be cautious with anyone who refuses to meet, pressures you to pay in advance, or whose offer seems too good to be true. Only share a contact number and details you're comfortable sharing. REPORTING If you see a listing that breaks these guidelines, report it from the listing using the report option and choose the reason that fits. Reports help us keep the marketplace clean. We review reports and take action where appropriate, though we can't promise a specific outcome for every report. ENFORCEMENT We may review listings and reported content, and we may hide or remove listings, reject content, or restrict or suspend accounts that break these guidelines or our Terms — with or without notice.
